The sound of Iceland at night. Cold and gloomy but with a danceable pulse. Need to make a full visit someday. Fun fact: IcelandAir had their albums on the flight music selection. heavenorli
I stumbled across Kælan Mikla on KEXP and the power of their live performance was very impressive. I love the whole aesthetic of their music even if I don't understand the lyrics. It is full of emotion and interesting new sounds! I haven't researched the band, but it sounds like they have a synergy that comes from working together for a very long time.
"Ætli það sé óhollt að láta sig dreyma" is my favorite track here, but the whole album is just a banger. Give it a listen! congealedmeat
